Monica & Glenn have the bride’s elder brother to thank for their meeting. Three years into their romance Glenn proposed in South Africa and their elegant wedding on Anassa Resort Cyprus had everything to do with Monica’s teenage dream to tie the knot on its pictorial chapel. The couple welcomed their loved ones with a Mohito Dance & Dive boat party on the turquoise waters around Chrysochous Bay and early the next morning preparations started on the couple’s bougainvillea clad twin suites of the chic iconic Anassa Resort. Monica is a bride who had a very clear vision of what she wanted right from the start and all through her super busy big-day schedule her preps worked like clockwork to make time for literally everything, toasts with her floral-robbed bridesmaids, the writing of her Aquazzura wedding shoes, and wonderful bride dressing portraits under her bridal veil!

Setting the wedding scene on Anassa Resort is always such a treat for us, our teams had already been working on Monica & Glenn’s floral and wedding reception installations from the very dawn. Monica loves proteas and wished to incorporate these exotic blooms into her florals so that her wedding day way was linked to her South Africa proposal, but we also went for a sea of David Austin roses as a nod to the bride and groom’s first dance song “la vie en rose”. The classic orthodox ceremony was held al-fresco with Monica wowing everyone in her Anna Georgina and Kobus Dippenaar, stylish yet relaxed, wedding dress a direct reflection of the wedding mood! As everyone enjoyed bespoke Cyprus inspired slings infused with native herbs and scents we made sure the last gorgeous details were set for the wedding reception under a sea of Edison lights. Our bride had her heart set on truly romantic accents that coordinated well with protea and greenery, so she opted for clear flatware and coordinating seating with a delicate organic feel in the middle. The exuberant party that followed lasted till the wee hours and surely wedding monotony at the door!

Big thanks to all the talented vendors who assisted our team in making this a truly special celebration for Monica & Glenn, special gratitude to the bride and groom’s photographer Theo Georgiades and their wedding cinematographer Louis Gabriel!
